Overrides

Override series stroke, fills, and axis chrome with theme tokens.

Default chart marks pick up Vira theme tokens. Pass stroke and fill when a plot needs a different highlight — any valid CSS color or var(--*) works. Reach for --highlight-* when the series should pop, --base-* into --global-foreground when the ranking should stay neutral, or oklab(from …) when one hue needs a weight ladder.

Common examples

Series and chrome

Acid series stroke with magenta tick strokes on the axes.

Same-hue highlight scale

Category bars along one cool family — cyan through slate — so rank stays related without mixing status hues.

Neutral base ramp

Climb mid --base-* steps into --global-foreground when categories should read as ink weight, not brand color. Prefer mid-to-ink steps on a light canvas — early --base-1…--base-3 are surface washes and disappear as fills.

Single-hue opacity ramp

One --highlight-* with rising oklab(from …) alpha — same tone, clearer weight from soft wash to solid.

Ask your agent

Restyle this line chart so the series uses the acid highlight and the axis ticks use magenta.
